Anne Mélan for NAMUR

Decoration of a garage door for the confectionary Namur who is official provider of the grand-ducal court. The confectioner and the garage are located next to each other in the city center of Luxembourg. The artist, following the environmental requirement given by the door and its 3 windows, worked on the effect of an optical illusion showing a cosy and dandy sunday afternoon at Namur, with coffee, pralines and champagne.

The original artwork is painted in aquarelles (yellow, magenta, cyan) on 300g paper, 100 x 115 cm, 2015
