Anne Mélan LESSONS @ VILLA VAUBAN

This class (12 hours), in Luxembourg’s historical artmuseum Villa Vauban, refers to the current expo about Jean-Jacques de Boissieu’s engravings. The lessons focus on painting techniques similar to those used in engravings. The aim is to experiment the use of black and white in its many forms.

In 2015, twelve hours of lessons about how to paint portaits ran within Villa Vauban’s expo of Frantz Seimetz’s works. While concentrating on proportion and contrast, adults and children drew and painted portraits, using pencil, charcoal, pastells and aquarell.
