Often called "nail weights" these were the first weights invented by Herb Reed for soft plastics that were a system to weight lures with the advantage of being independent of the line or the hook. Designed to be inserted into your lure as concealed weight and to customize your bait the way you want it “tuned" to fall. 

Using our lead or lead free insert weights provides an advantage over hard Tungsten nails because you can use smaller pieces of weight to customize how you want the lure to fall. Tungsten nails do not allow you use them sideways in smaller pieces because you can’t cut them, for example you may want use along the length of the lure to weight your lure to fall horizontally instead of nose first. 

Lunker City weights are made of more porous materials and can adhere well with super glues

Our weights can be trimmed with clippers, pliers or scissors into sizable pieces for strategic balance for a more creative or specific result.
